Spring Cleaning
When Its time for spring cleaning, be prepared! Just because chemicals clean well by themselves doesn’t mean they should be mixed together (looking at you, bleach). So don’t be a scientist! Choose your cleaning supplies wisely
The weather is beautiful, windows are open and now it’s time for spring cleaning! We all love the sent of a fresh clean home, however, just because chemicals clean well by themselves doesn’t mean they should be mixed together (looking at you, bleach). Mixing chemicals can cause lots of harm by creating toxic fumes that can cause bodily harm. You might not even smell or see the fumes before it’s too late. So don’t be a scientist! Spring fresh
Spring cleaning time is here! And one thing we forget is the air quality in our homes. Homes may look clean but have you thought about how clean the quality of air is that you are breathing? Here are a few tips on how to get sparky clean air in your homes:
Use steam cleaners: steam cleaners will not only clean but they will also kill mold and mildew.
Invest in HEPA vacuum filters: as you vacuum the air being blown back into the home can still can contain dust mites, animal dander and other yucky partials. A HEPA filter will clean these particles out and blow fresh clean air back into the home.
Ditch the heavy cleaners and opt for fragrance free ones or homemade ones. Some of my most favorite cleaners are the ones made with vinegar and or essential oils.
Clean your homes air filters. These can get pretty nasty so don’t forget to change them out.
Invest in house plants. House plants help in purifying the air and they look great too!!
Now breath easy! Your home not only is sparkly clean but also sparkly fresh!
